Admire the architecture and learn the history of this 125 year old building. This two-story structure built in 1888 was designed by architect John A. Dempwolf and has been considered the anchor of York’s downtown revitalization. Ever since its inception the people of this great city have used the market place as source of community gathering and events. It is also known as the base of York’s economic growth. The importance of Central Market House, even if not fully known, is realized in the hearts of all who live and go there.

Savor all that your heart (and stomach) can desire with vendors ranging from deli, dining, specialties, baked goods and more. Whether you are enjoying an early morning espresso and baked goods or a hearty lunch, Central Market House is offers a selection of over 50 vendors with many specialty menus for all pallets and lifestyle choices.

Take home locally grown and freshly made goods. Many of the vendors have baked goods wrapped, jarred, sealed, and contained so you may take them home and enjoy at a later date.
